The Clever Fox and the Goat
Once upon a time, a fox fell into a well. He tried hard to get out, but he could not find a way.
After some time, a goat came that way. He looked into the well and saw the fox. The goat asked the fox why he was inside the well.
The cunning fox did not tell the truth. Instead, he praised the water and said that it was very sweet and refreshing. He invited the goat to jump into the well and drink it.
The foolish goat believed the fox. He jumped into the well. The fox quickly climbed onto the goat's back, jumped out of the well and ran away.
The poor goat was left alone inside the well. He realised his mistake too late.
Moral: We should think carefully before believing clever or dishonest people.
