Procedure:
1. Introduction (10 minutes): Start the Lesson by reading the poem aloud to the students. Ask them to listen carefully for the word "and" and raise their hands every time they hear it. After reading, ask the students what they noticed about the word "and".

2. Write their responses on the chart paper or whiteboard. Explain that "and" is a word that we use to join two words, phrases, or sentences that are related or have the same importance.
3. Give some examples of how "and" can be used, such as:
- I like apples and oranges. (noun + noun)
- She sings and dances. (verb + verb)
- The sky is blue and clear. (adjective + adjective)
- He is smart and funny. (clause + clause)
Ask the students to repeat the examples and identify the parts of speech that are joined with "and".
2. Guided practice (15 minutes): Give each student a worksheet with sentences that have blanks for "and". Ask them to work in pairs or small groups to fill in the blanks with appropriate words or phrases. For example:
- I have a cat ___ a dog. (and)
- She likes to read ___ write. (and)
- He is tall ___ thin. (and)
- They are happy ___ excited. (and)

Circulate around the room and check the students' work. Provide feedback and assistance as needed. After the students finish, ask them to share their answers with the class. Correct any errors and reinforce the use of "and".
3. Independent practice (15 minutes): Give each student a pair of scissors and glue. Ask them to cut out the flashcards with words or pictures that can be joined with "and". For example:
- red, blue
- sun, moon
- cake, ice cream
- run, jump
Put the flashcards in a bag or box and mix them up. Ask each student to draw two flashcards from the bag or box and glue them on a paper. Then, ask them to write a sentence using "and" to join the words or pictures. For example:
- The flag is red and blue.
- The sun and the moon are in the sky.
- I like cake and ice cream.
- I can run and jump.
Ask the students to work independently and use their creativity. Remind them to use capital letters, punctuation, and neat handwriting. Collect the papers when they are done.
4. Closure (5 minutes): Review the lesson objective and the use of "and" with the students. Ask them to share what they learned and what they enjoyed about the lesson. Praise their efforts and participation. Ask them to give examples of how they can use "and" in their daily lives, such as:
- I play with my friends and my family.
- I eat breakfast and lunch.
- I brush my teeth and wash my face.
- I say hello and goodbye.
Thank the students for their attention and enthusiasm. Tell them that they will learn more about "and" and other conjunctions in the next lessons.
